Gloss + Gospel: Terms of Service (aka) House Rules
The vibe check. The ground rules. The fine print (but make it cute).
Welcome to Gloss + Gospel. By reading, subscribing, or sharing, you’re agreeing to these House Rules. Don’t worry — no scary legalese, just clarity with a little style.
1. Content & Posting Schedule
We post when we feel led, inspired, or slightly convicted. Sometimes that’s daily. Sometimes that’s weekly. Sometimes it’s when the Holy Spirit clears our calendar.
This is not a content mill. It’s soul work. So while we aim for consistency, we leave room for rest, real life and revelation.
Gloss + Gospel is about scripture, stories, and soul-care — not professional counseling, legal advice, or medical guidance. Everything here is designed to inspire, educate, and point you back to God’s Word.
Translation: we’ll bring the gospel when we want, with wit and style, but for health, safety, or life-changing decisions, seek proper professional advice.
2. Community Guidelines
This is a faith-rooted space, which means kindness is non-negotiable. By joining, you agree to:
Keep it respectful.
No spam, no hate, no trolling.
Share the gospel, not gossip.
Hot takes are welcome, if they come with humility. Spiritual superiority or general nastiness will get deleted (blessed and blocked, in that order).
3. Subscriptions & Payments
Right now, Gloss + Gospel is free. If you pledge a future subscription, you won’t be charged until payments are officially turned on. Substack handles all transactions securely (hallelujah for that).
4. Intellectual Property
All writing and original creative content belongs to Gloss + Gospel. Feel free to share links, snippets, or quotes with credit — but don’t copy/paste entire posts without permission. Sharing spreads the word; stealing misses the point.
5. Privacy
Your inbox is sacred, and your email is safe here. We don’t sell or misuse your data — subscriptions are managed through Substack, which has its own Privacy Policy.
6. The Eternal Fine Print
We’ll keep it real: this newsletter is about Jesus. Posts will reflect Christian scripture and perspective. If that’s not your thing, consider this your polite opt-out moment. If it is your thing, welcome — we’re glad you’re here.
TD; DR:
Be kind. Be open. Be real.
And know that every word here is meant to point back to Him—not us.
Let’s keep it holy and honest.
That’s how we roll.
